Color measurement of high-visibility clothing according to DIN EN ISO 20471

Reflective high-visibility clothing must meet certain criteria in terms of color and luminosity in order to be certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 20471. In particular, the properties of the material must withstand certain stress tests during production. But it must also be checked during use, after each cleaning, whether the color and luminous qualities of the clothing comply with DIN EN ISO 20471.

The DIN EN ISO 20471 standard for high-visibility clothing specifies not only the size and shape of the clothing and the position of the retroreflective stripes, but also the requirements for the color and luminosity of the material.
